As a Charitable organisation, all HFYFC activities are put on by the members and other volunteers who support the needs of each activity. To manage the costs of running the year, various means of funding are sourced by the Officers as part of their year in office. This includes gaining sponsorship from local businesses for each competition, whether financial or in equipment/time/resources, booking trade stands for the County Rally, gaining advertisements for the annual yearbook and rally programme publications, as well as running raffles, fundraising events and an active 200 Club.
